TENACITY · RoV / Arena of Valor

Tenacity is a Thai RoV team that emerged from the former TALON Thailand operation and publicly introduced its new identity in January 2026. Its first RPL Summer campaign ended in fifth place. For Winter, the announced lineup brings MOOP into Dragon lane, moves SRY to Slayer lane and names Goru as head coach. Launch reporting, Summer final results, Winter roster.

What changed for Winter?

The clearest change is the lane pairing. SRY was already part of Tenacity before Winter: Garena announced his arrival ahead of May’s APL Wildcard, where he was listed in Dragon lane. Winter’s announcement puts him in Slayer lane, with MOOP taking Dragon lane. Erez remains listed in Jungle, the role he also held on the May roster. There is a coaching change too. Tenacity said farewell to its first coach, Jinwoo, in June; Goru is the announced Winter head coach. Jakkapat, the Slayer laner on the Wildcard roster, departed in July. Jinwoo farewell, Jakkapat departure.

The revised side lanes and coaching setup are the main changes to follow as Tenacity begins Winter after a fifth-place domestic finish and an unsuccessful attempt to reach APL’s main event.

Where Tenacity came from

Tenacity’s first fan meeting on 11 January 2026 introduced a new identity for a team continuing from the Thai TALON operation. Launch reporting identifies Matt (ปรเมธ โตสุขศรี) as founder and CEO and describes the local leadership and staff backing the continuation themselves. The team’s own presentation explains the Tenacity name and goat identity; Thai posts use the nickname แพะดื้อ, roughly “stubborn goats.” Launch report, official fan meeting, official nickname usage.

This gives Tenacity a connection to an established Thai RoV history, but the earlier titles were won under TALON names. Selected milestones from that predecessor history include:

TalonAIC 2023Champion; defeated Valencia CF 4–2. Erez was final MVP. Garena recap.
TalonRPL 2024 SummerChampion. TALON’s history.
Talon EsportsRPL 2025 Winter6th overall. Final season report.

The connection is visible in individual careers as well. Garena’s AIC 2023 recap names Erez, Difoxn and POGPOG in the winning Talon lineup; all three appear on Tenacity’s announced Winter roster. MOOP also has a memorable place in dtac Talon’s history: his Lu Bu backdoor in the deciding game of the AWC 2021 final helped secure that title. These are earlier career achievements, rather than trophies won by Tenacity. AIC recap, contemporary MOOP feature.
